Rodney Michalka is the chair of the Construction Group at Cheatham Consulting, LLC. Rod applies his 35 years of experience in the construction industry to help clients limit risk exposure and strategically resolve disputes.

Prior to joining Cheatham Consulting, Rod served as Executive Vice President for The Turner Corporation, where he was responsible for many new National business initiatives including Turner Casualty and Surety, Turner Logistics, Turner Knowledge Network and Facilities Management Solutions.

While at Turner, Rod was also responsible for many of the firm’s units, including Kansas City, Denver, Cleveland, Cinncinatti, Columbus,Toledo, Nashville and and St. Louis.  Rod has an extensive operations background, a deep knowledge of the industry and managed numerous high-profile projects, including:  INVESCO Field at Mile High, Denver, Colorado; Kansas Speedway, Kansas City, Kansas; Overland Park Convention Center and Sheraton Hotel, Overland Park, Kansas; Two Prudential Plaza, Chicago, Illinois; Hoechst Marion Roussel, Marion Park project, Kansas City, Missouri, and Wayne State University Clinic/Detroit General Hospital, Michigan.

Rod has a B.S in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
